Dr. Drew Timmermans is a naturopathic doctor with a passion for connecting with his patients and helping them overcome their chronic injuries and pain to reclaim their life. This passion is what drives him to think outside the box when working with patients to identify and treat the root cause of pain.
Ligament laxity and pain
If you consider yourself a very flexible person or a Yogi and experience chronic pain in the joints, it is crucial to get an evaluation for ligaments as they could be a source of pain. Due to increased ligament laxity, there may be a higher risk of ligament injuries and wear and tear on joints as you age. Evaluation and potential treatment for ligaments are essential to address any pain or issues arising from their flexibility.

This mindset is hindering your healing
Просмотров 181День назад
Adopting a victim mindset by claiming to have tried everything for chronic back pain is a significant barrier to actual healing. It's unrealistic to have exhausted all possible treatments, including various medications, surgeries, and alternative therapies. This mindset fosters a belief that one is beyond help, which can hinder recovery. Acknowledging this can be challenging and may provoke str...
Delaying with Orthobiologics
Просмотров 22321 день назад
When exploring the orthobiologic space, it's important to understand what your goals are and how different therapies can impact the disease state. While there is no evidence to suggest that taking certain peptides or supplements can delay the progression of knee osteoarthritis, high quality PRP and stem cell therapy have shown promising results in halting or delaying disease progression. If you...

When deciding to use injectable peptides, it's important to keep in mind that research chemical websites may not provide sterile products and could contain contaminants or impurities. This can lead to endotoxin exposure and serious complications. To ensure the safety of your treatment, it's best to work with a physician who can prescribe from a compounding pharmacy rather than purchasing from a...
Long-term healing from chronic pain comes from this
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.2 месяца назад
When dealing with chronic pain, it's important to remember that true healing lies in the consistent daily actions you take, rather than one-off treatments like surgery or injections. While these may be helpful in the short-term, focusing on habits that support a healthy environment for healing is key in the long-term. This includes prioritizing sleep, nutrition, hydration, movement, exercise, s...
Imaging Does Not Show Your Pain
Просмотров 6632 месяца назад
When trying to determine the cause of your pain, it's important to understand that imaging only shows structures that may be potentially causing you pain, not necessarily what is actually causing it. It's important to have a physical assessment with someone skilled in this area to determine what structures are actually causing your pain, as degenerative disc disease on an MRI may not be the act...
Subcutaneous Peptide Injection
Просмотров 2,7 тыс.2 месяца назад
When you inject peptides like BPC 157 over the area of pain, it does not directly go to the area of tissue damage initially. The medication is absorbed by the blood vessels in the subcutaneous tissue and distributed throughout the body. Therefore, there is no difference between injecting in the abdomen versus over the area of pain when we talk about how the peptide gets to the damaged tissue. T...
Imaging and Chronic Pain
Просмотров 3402 месяца назад
When you are dealing with chronic pain, it's important to understand that imaging does not always show the cause of your pain. You can have structural changes without pain, or pain without any visible changes. It's important to have a thorough history and physical exam, and possibly diagnostic injections or treatment, in order to determine the cause of your pain. Simply relying on imaging can l...
The #1 Reason PRP Injection Don't Work
Просмотров 1 тыс.3 месяца назад
If you have received PRP or stem cell therapy for pain and it has not worked, it may be due to misdiagnosis. It is possible that the pain generator was not properly identified and treated. This can happen if a thorough physical examination is not done and the provider relies solely on MRI results. It is important for providers to acknowledge that misdiagnosis can occur and focus on improving th...
No Improvement After Cortisone Injection
Просмотров 3303 месяца назад
If you're still experiencing pain after receiving a corticosteroid injection, it's possible that you were misdiagnosed. Relying too heavily on imaging results can often lead to this. For example, you may have received an epidural injection for low back pain, but the actual cause of your pain was not properly identified. This could be due to an injury to the SI joint, which is not always visible...

Understanding Regenerative Injections: From Prolotherapy to PRP and Stem Cell Therapy
Doc you are correct but until peptides become affordable for regular people this will continue. I don’t know who comes up with the prices of pharmaceutical grade peptides but it is outrageous.
Please there is peptide synthesizer machines, thing is only pharmacists know how to use them. Someone should post a guide to one so people can make it themselves. Then the medicine for the people it seems no one wants to show the steps to use these machines and it wouldn't hurt anyones pocket cuz most people not technically literate
Hey there, Doctor, I had a peptide dosage question. It doesn't necessarily pertain to this video, but I didn't know how else to ask you. I recently bought NAD+ at 100 mg. I've tried using the peptide calculator, but it doesn't seem to be accurate. My syringe is the 100-unit size. I typically add 2-2.5 ML of Bac water to Ipamorelin/CJC 1295 blend, and it seems to work out well. Can u tell me a good range in mcg for daily use of NAD+ injections? And maybe how much Bac water to add to the typical small peptide vial? Thanks for your time.
What did you specifically get your MD in? Looking toward med school as I’m finishing undergrad and I suffer from hEDS. I have a very strong passion for learning ab healing peptides to help those w chronic pain such as myself and was wondering what route you took through med school?
Did you have to stay on it to get the benefits or was 1 cycle enough to have lasting healing effects on your gut?
The dude in the blue t-Shirt was posting on Instagram during lecture.
I had what i think was a severe pinched nerve. C5/C6 my forearm was burning at first. My tricep, pec, lat and front delt all atrophied and are significantly smaller than my right side. 4 months later i have some feeling in those muscles back but when contracting them fully they have a cramping sensation and are still very weak. Will this heal fully?
what is the name of the compound pharmacy in kentucky and do you believe the nasal spray is effective? thank you
Based on one of the mechanisms of BPC-157 I would also take Growth hormone, IGF-1. Their is a oral available form, Deer Antler Velvet Powder from Barlowes.
in addition to prolotherapy, what peptides can i use to heal ligaments laxity of pelvis ?
Do you recommend using PBC157 and TB500 for an Achilles rupture?
Tautologies are meaningless
Where can you get clean peptides?
Thymosin beta 4 fragments in oral form are legit or stick with the oral bpc 157
Exactly
treatment???
hi doctor ... should i clean after taking it for 2 months ?
Have you worked with any patients with m.s ? My wife has m.s , diagnosed about 15 years ago. No pain, but tremors, and walking is limited.
First time using BPC orally; On 30 days now for gut inflammation help, using InfiniWell Bpc line. Def noticing an improvement going to cycle off after 60 days.
Wrong
Have you used BPC-157 to treat clients with Crohn's and how have the results been? Has your opinion changed at all since posting this video? Thanks!
Can you mix glutathione in the same bag as other vitamins?
Arizona how far away are you from the airport? Which airport are you closest to?
Hey Dr. I’m currently using bpc 157 and Tb500 for minor tendon and ligament injuries. Are injection site reactions common with tb500? I’m taking a 2mg dose dose daily and it ends up being red and sore for the next 2 days.
What's the treatment though?
So in case I missed it. For BCP-157, would injuries be a stimulus? I suffer from hEDS and I am in amazing shape through years of hard work but soft tissues always hurt regardless of any modalities used i.e physical therapy.
They mentioned liver in the comments. I tried eating liver even though I hate it. I ate red meat. I took supplements. Nothing worked except Synthesit! Boosting iron is really tough.
I have two torn wrist ligaments, if I did this where would I inject?
Did you watch the full video? The answer lies in the video
Can BPC 157 heal/restore cartilage? as i have a meniscus injury that i have been dealing with for the longest time
We have not had any patients who have ever healed cartilage from using BPC-157. We have had people see improvements in pain, but we don't see evidence of true cartilage healing on an MRI. If we are aiming for cartilage or meniscus healing, we are usually needing to opt for high dose PRP or stem cell therapy, delivered into the joint, into the meniscus, and into the bone deep to the cartilage. If you decide to trial the BPC-157 oral, here is our approach: The most common starting dose we use with patients is 500mcg, once per day on an empty stomach. The time of day doesn't really matter in our opinion. We normally have patients take BPC-157 for at least a month to determine if they see improvements, but sometimes it takes longer to see effects as tissue healing takes time. We then have patients continue on the BPC-157 for several months, and then we might trial taking them off to see if their symptoms remained improved or if they regress. If they regress, we put them back on it. We use the BPC-157 capsules from InfiniWell as they use the arginate salt. To help out, we have a 20% patient discount code on our website regenerativeperformance.com/supplements (code is RP20). Once on that website, click the InfiniWell link, and then choose the product labeled 'BPC-157 Original 250mcg'. This is the version that does not have SNAC, which we find works better.
In your opinion, would the combination of using a tens machine and taking bpc 157 help me with my meniscus? Even though you've said there is no true evidence bpc 157 restores cartilage? Thank you for your reply
You just said it doesnt matter where you inject it. Will capsules have the same effect?
Capsules and injectable are equal in efficacy in most people. Some people will notice one form works better than the other, but for most people they are equal. Plus, right now you can't get pharmaceutical grade BPC-157 injectable anymore, and we strongly recommend you not to get injectable off a website because the risk of toxins is high. This is why re recommend the oral. We use the BPC-157 capsules from InfiniWell as they use the arginate salt. To help out, we have a 20% patient discount code on our website regenerativeperformance.com/supplements (code is RP20). I had a cortisone steroid injection inti my wrist join 2 days ago and its REALLY pain full and about 10 times worse right now. Not what I was expecting. In your experience is this common?
If they used depo-medrol, yes it's very common to have a post injection flare. It should resolve in a few days and then you should see the reduction in pain
@@DrewTimmermansND I'm not 100% sure as I thought cortisone was just one drug :) Thanks Drew
Standard for getting anhedonia too
Awesome content, thank you
My pleasure!
Hi Dr does BPC-157 help to heal open wounds as well?
It can, and there is some (animal) research on wound healing in this fashion. Because the injectable is not available through a compounding pharmacy anymore, we recommend the oral form. 3 - 6 mths 👍👍 took me over a year really to notice improvements. Consistency like brushing your teeth
consistency is key!
Mine's getting worse and worse and worse I've been to the doctors left and right
low dose bpc-157 is 250mcg x 2 per day, which is 3.5g per week. Which is also right in the sweet spot for tb-500, so a logical and easy protocol would be to reconstitude both 5mg bpc-157 and 5mg tb-500 with 2ml each and inject 10 iu of each twice a day, you can draw both into the same syringe and inject once. Very simple and uncomplicated. 10 days for 5mg +5mg. If you want the higher 5 mg per week, just go for 14 IUs each twice per day.
Since we Do a lot of healing at night during sleep and it's gone or used in less than 24 hrs wouldn't nighttime be the best time?
We have played around with that, and sometimes we think we see better improvements at night, but other times it doesn't appear that way. Hence it's not a standard recommendation, and we usually just say to take in the morning because everyone is fasted upon waking, whereas many people eat too close to bed.
I lived a life of stress for many many years saying when i get where i want to be, I will sleep exercise eat better. Then health tapped me on the shoulder. It got my attention. Now, I'm trying to play catch up.
you can still make huge improvements!
Why do you keep saying small little? I’ve had an annual tear or fissure as you like to call it. It’s horrific. Absolutely horrific. Don’t try and belittle it.
I'm terribly sorry to hear you are in pain. I also have had a 'small' annular fissure and it caused terrible pain (I'm now currently 95% pain free from an intradiscal PRP injection). Not belittling it at all, we treat these annular fissures in our clinic to help people suffering
Good evening sir. Iam watching your videos since 2 years. Iam suffering from ulcerative colitis (IBD ). I hope your Said my problem complete cure. Please suggest me permanent solution sir. 🙏🙏
Have you seen BPC 157 results for that ? I think it has good validation for that specifically
Well said. I helped my mother get off of 13 medications, normalized her BP (she fought high BP over 20 years) and she tossed her cane just from eating organic, ditching bread and soda, exercise and sitting in the sun every day. The changes in just two months had her doctor telling me he was floored.
I LOVE IT
Is it contraindicated to drink tea or any caffeine product after taking oral bpc? I would wait if it was ok, but seems that the caffeine of the product could affect the acid, the absorption, etc.
that shouldn't have a large effect. If you're concerned, just wait about 15 minutes or so
@@DrewTimmermansND thank you.
Can you Mix box-157 and tb-500 together for a single injection? As well as what doses would you go with for both. I have a herniated disc with massive sciatic pain
You should probably come see us for some PRP. That will work much faster and better than any peptide. But if you're going the peptide route, don't mix them in the same syringe. Keep them separate
@@DrewTimmermansND ok ty, where are you guys located I’m in Southern California
Thank you for the info. Are there any contraindications and/or drug interactions?
I love hearing this. Never give up. I did PRP on my knees two months ago, I’ve had some flare ups since, I’m meeting with my ortho tomorrow to see if I need another round or give it more time to heal , but I’ll do the work to lose the aching knees, I’m 53 and want to enjoy life.
Best of luck!!
Can I inject this immediately after bpc 156? Say 1000mg BPC then 500mg TB daily?
Hey does the nasal tb 500 spray actually work?
